We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Arthur Murray Huffmeister in Houston. We took a few classes here while trying to improve our dancing and work on a first dance for our April 2009 wedding. Being a teacher myself, I find that I am exceptionally critical of others' instruction. I found the Arthur Murray methods to be easy to follow, encouraging, and positive. The teachers give specific and clear directions and differentiate their instruction based on the learner's level. The teachers are friendly (knowing everyone's name and facts about each person) yet get down to work quickly. They don't seem interested in trying to sell clients on dance packages, but instead aim to make the experience enjoyable and worthwhile. The studio sells itself! If you are thinking about dance lessons, please give them a try!
