Tonight, for the second time in eight months, I was treated shabbily by the staff at this store. My wife and I walked in at approx 6:00 pm (they close at 7:00 pm) and were the only customers in the store. There were two employees mulling around and neither one approached us nor acknowledged our presence. As we searched for a gift for my wife's boss a third employee walked in from the back and when she saw me, she turned on her heel and disappeared from whence she came. We decided on a $60 scarf and took it to the check-out area. We stood and waited 5-10 minutes while employee #1 folded merchandise and #2 stayed busy avoiding our looks. Finally, employee #1 came over to check us out and snapped an answer to my wife's inquiry about gift wrapping. Believe me, there will NEVER be a next time. I can't understand a snobby attitude coming from someone who makes $10 per hour. (I gave the store 2 stars only because my wife loves their stuff.) Their goods seem over-priced to me. The women who work at this Ann Taylor never say hello or even ask you if they can help. They just ignore customers.
