THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!



THEY GLADLY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GUARANTEE WORK. IT LEAKS! THEY MADE MORE PROBLEMS IN MY ROOF AND WILL NOT COME BACK TO REPAIR.



WHATEVER YOU DO. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY SAY THEY ARE LICENSED?

I WILL NOW SEE WHAT THE COURT SAY'S AND THE CONTRACTOR BOARD

a tree fell on my roof because of the hurricane. i had the tree removed and then called all set they came by gave me a price and put a tarp on my roof . the following day repaired my roof not only quick but good thanks

very nice people and will do business again in the future thanks all set

They sounded like they didn't want to help me.

I contacted All Set Roofing and Paving from their yellow pages ad (Houston North Suburban) to repair a leak in my roof. They also have a website (www.allsetroofing.net) that claims theyare an "honest, reputable, company that you can trust to make sure you are %100 satisfied with the job". It also advertised a $199.00 leak special. When RICKY MENENDEZ arrived, he went on the roof. He showed me where there was a small crack in the shingles where the leak was. We agreed that for $450.00 he would cover the area with sheet metal, tar around to seal it and then cover the metal with shingles. To make a long story short, I am left with 5 metal strips on my roof, not even secured down, and when you LIFT UP the metal strips there is now a HOLE IN THE ROOF THE STZE OF MY HEAD !!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not discover this hole until the next day after I had already paid him $350.00 ($100.00 less than we had discussed because I was so unhappy with the sloppy way that it looked -- even though he assured me that it was guaranteed not to leak). I now believe that his roofing "company" is NON-EXISTENT.



Here are the facts and YOU DECIDE WHETHER YOU THINK THIS "COMPANY" IS LEGIT:

--Both phone numbers in his ads are 1) his cell phone and 2) what I believe to be his personal residence (TV, baby crying in the background).

-- Address listed for "company" belongs to an apartment complex.

-- He showed up in plain clothes, plain pick-up truck, no tools (he had to go to Home Depot).

-- He made sure to make the job last up to the last minute knowing that I had plans to leave.

--"Receipt" was actually a plain paper with letterhead of which he wanted ME to write out what he had done. I told him

"No, he needed to write it out" He actually wrote that his work was guaranteed for 7 years !!!!

--He went immediately to MY bank with my check to withdraw the money.



I am doing this at the risk of embarrasing myself for broadcasting what an idiot I am for being too nice but I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
