Be aware and run away from this club. Do not sign your kids up for this club as such all they care is your money and the fields (central location they call it) are in the very bad neighborhood.!!

Coaches, well should I say at least our coach, was nothing but egocentric (full of himself) guy that had ulterior motives like advancing his career instead of advancing the skills of your kids. For example, since his (our coach’s) motive was only to win a game, to look good, he would go ahead recruit better (in his perception) players from other clubs and would put your child on the bench which was very humiliating and demotivating for our kid. Otherwise bringing better players from somewhere else would be the easiest job fo a coach to win!!

We know that not all kids are equal, but we pay money to this club to make sure they can advance our kids’ skills as necessary. I am sure they have good coaches as well, but we have not experienced it. We have quit this club and are somewhere else now!

Overall there are pro's and con's as with any club of this size so experience varies player by player.

I have two sons playing at the highest bracket both of equal skills and experience. Their experience and growth while they were at Albion varies by trainer/year. I don't call or consider them coaches as they don't have enough consistent exposure to the players to really coach a specific style of play.

Which is my biggest concern with the club, there is no consistent curriculum or style of play that is being taught from academy to their elite teams.

I've been around the Houston Soccer scene for over 20 years and its great that their is growth, but some clubs seem to have lost their focus and have gotten to big to be effective.

My advice is if you are looking for soccer skills training this is as good as any other club but if you want your child to learn how to apply those skills and really accelerate their development as a soccer player its not at Albion.

For reference both my boys went through the development academy U8-U10 and into their advance teams U11-U13 so a total of 5/6 years. I've since moved to another club and over the past season (3 months) both have learned more consistently than they ever did at Albion. Wish I would of switched sooner.

The club is only after your money. Some of the coaches are good, but the club overall is only interested in bringing in more players and not training the ones they have to be better. Top teams not always the best teams, more politcally motivated than looking at talent. Parents who make the most noise and/or have the most money usually get what they want. Daughter liked coaches but was a big let down overall considering the number of years we gave to the club. Organization lacking proper guidance.

This is a club that is only after your money. It's 24 kids to one coach. If you don't make their elite team they really could care less. We paid 1000. for this league and I am so disappointed! I just want the coach to actually coach the boys! All they do in practice is scrimmage. During the game the coach is on the side line in a lawn chair! Very disappointing! Not worth the $$$ I would recommend finding a different league!
