Before we moved in, we were given a list of repairs to the home that AIM planned to complete, including repaving the driveway. Now they're saying that they are not going to repair it at all! Our next door neighbors came over to introduce themselves and warned us that the previous tenants had had bed bugs. This was a HUGE concern, but AIM assured us that it was not bed bugs, it was fleas, & the house had been treated. Lo & behold, we are currently dealing with bed bugs. AIM refuses to pay for the treatment, claiming that we brought the bugs. Not only are they insisting that we pay for the treatment, they are requiring that we use a company that they approve! So we're going to be out over $1000 for a problem that was there before we moved in (the exterminator they sent out for the initial inspection confirmed that it was likely that the bugs were already in the house, as the baseboards in several rooms are infested).

Run away!!!! This company is a shake down factory. They are nice until you sign a lease then Its down hill from there. You will never see your deposit no matter how clean you leave the place they will find something to absorb your deposit up with. If you don't want to lose money this is a warning they will hold you hostage by putting erroneous information on your credit report preventing you from leasing else where.

I'm glad that I did not have the opportunity to lease from AIM Realty. I was wondering how many people on a daily basis do they take their application fees and of course do nothing or not even try. Even at one point when I wasn't able to reach someone I thought it was a holiday and it was only October 30 (meaning no one really answers their phone) So again a special shout out to AIM Realty for the opportunity to not have a headache for the next 12 months!

If 0 stars was an option, i wo...

If 0 stars was an option, i would choose that. Most of these other higher rated reviews must be from AIM themselves, erroneous none the less. Several times they "lost" our rent check, receipts for the mailbox we purchased for the house, and finally our notice to vacate. BUDDY, the secretary, was extremely undependable and condescending when we needed anything. It took over 1.5 years for them to fix our plumbing, which happened to get done within a month of our move-out. To top it off, we were burglarized, they actually tried to make us pay for repairing the door that was kicked in, and we had to beg to get them to even come out and secure the house.

Stay away, unless you want to be miserable with your entire experience.

Beware of AIM Realty; they wil...

Beware of AIM Realty; they will rip you off one way or another. I leased a property with them for 2 years and at the end of the first year they increased my rent by 5% and the pressured my to re-sign the new contract, otherwise if I didn’t within 15 days then I was subject to an extra 5% increase on my rent and if we stayed on a Month to Month basis then the rent was subject to an increase every month thereafter. I had no time to look for another place; therefore I signed the new lease. After completing the second year of leasing with them I finally was able to move out to my own home. Unfortunately, AIM Realty managed to steal part of my security deposit. According to them for a late fee from the first year I leased with them, I was stunned to see that, are you kidding me, from the first year, and then they also stated that there was garbage in and out of the property. I left the place spotless, it was cleaned inside and out, I even cut the lawn one last time before heading away to return my keys. However the only way to go back and dispute anything according to them is via a letter and with supporting documents. Seriously, supporting documents on a late fee from 2010 and garbage that according to them had been picked up already. Anyways, I would NEVER recommend AIM Realty! They are a Scam! Besides very unresponsive when it comes to issues in the rental property…

By far, the worst property man...

By far, the worst property management company to deal with as a property owner. Calls and emails are NEVER returned promptly, if ever. There is no single point of contact, and instead you have to remember all the different people to call depending on the issue. Once you locate the person you need to speak with, you are ALWAYS sent to voice mail. The people are not friendly at all, and act as if they are doing you a favor. Their tenant screening process is not thorough, and they are more concerned with just filling the vacancies so they can get paid their commission. No personal attention, and for as big as they seem to be, they lack features such as direct deposit and paperless owner statements. Their management fee is only 6% but they charge you with unnecessary maintenance and repairs to make up for it. Their management agreement is only 1 page and it basically gives them freedom to do what they deem "reasonable." Horrible, horrible experience.

How are they in business?

DO NOT rent from this company. It is a wonderful process to actually rent from them...and then once you do....it is awful. They do not answer their phones, they do not return calls, they do not repair things that are needed, and they will add many charges that should not be added when you move out. I have called an attorney, filed complaints with the BBB, and I have called Channel 2 and Channel 11 to investigate them. I am generally a calm person that can deal with a lot...but this is WAY too much. Good luck if you rent from them, because you will need it!

if you are thinking of renting a property you are better off renting a box form a homeless man, you will probably get faster service than these dunce caps over at aim.
