I had the transmission in my truck rebuilt twice by A Tech, the first time I got 120K miles out of it before I took it in. The second time, I didn't even have 35K miles before it went out. He was willing to come off the price a little (they only offer a 12mos/12k mi warranty), but not enough to risk a quick failure again.
