This moving company should be shut down for fraudulently charging customers! First, the driver/owner/manager (EJ) and his helper came late for the appointment, then wrote the wrong time on the contract so he can cheat you out of more money. His hourly rate is $70 with a minimum of 2 hours. I agreed to these terms and he moved my furniture, which is just a 1 BR apartment with minimal belongings. After he was finished, I asked how much it would be... he told me $210. I was shocked because he only spent 2 hours moving my furniture! After I told him it should be just 2 hours and 10 minutes maximum, he got angry, cussed, and proceeded to argue with me that it was almost 3 hours of work. I disagreed with his calculations because they did not make any sense at all, the charges should be prorated and I can pay for the extra 10 minutes or so. In the end, I paid him for more than the work he did but I told him I would report his business. I have never had to deal with such a rude and ignorant "businessman" in my life!
