This guy, Dennis Strothers (the owner of All County Termite and Pest Control), came by after treating my neighbor’s house for everything under the sun. He went to her church and he took advantage of that connection. We had a little mouse problem that has turned into a nightmare! On first inspection of the house he told us that we should be treated for carpenter ants because our neighbor had them so bad!! He stated that he had found 10 rats at my neighbor’s house and one was in the backyard that was a foot long and that he also found a snake in her backyard; he never told her any of that. We told him we had caught one mouse in our attic and he said that he would spray this de-scenter that would take away the scent of the mouse urine so that more mouse would not come. He sprayed something around our house and on our fence line. Honestly, the way it was sprayed our whole front and back porch was drenched and it looked and smelled like water, wonder if that was all it was. He put bait out for the rodent problem in our attic. I specifically told him my concerns about bait, I didn’t want mice to die in my walls and stink up my house. He assured me that the bait he uses will make them get thirsty and they will leave the house to drink and when they drink, the poison will be activated and then they will die outside the house. So he put bait everywhere and came back to check the attic at which time, he told me that the good news was that the rat/mice have taken the bait. But the bad news is that I have a snake in my attic! Being completely and insanely afraid of snakes, I freaked out! My house by the way is a 2 story and the attic is on the top of the second story. He charged us another fee to spray some kind of gas in the attic to make the snake leave. He said he would be back to close off all the areas of the house that the mice could get in. When he returned he explained to me that I would need another treatment for the snake to keep it out and wanted another fee. He also told me a story everytime he returned about him being in the hospital or such. 3 mice have died in my walls or attic, the smell is grotesque and he will not return our calls. When I looked up his company and name on the internet and found all those other reviews and heard he had been in an undercover sting operation with channel 2 news in Houston in Sept. 2011 for scamming people, I was sick to my stomache. My parents live across the street and he inspected their house and told them that it looked like they had carpenter ant damage and that he would cut them a good deal since the were Senior Citizens and that he thought they might have a rodent problem and he would put bait out, which though they were charged for, thank God, he never did!! My neighbor he took for about $1500, us he got for about $500 and my parents for about $300. My advice is to STAY AWAY from him and his company!! He has been reported to the BBB and to the State Board of Exterminators, why does he still have a liscense??

i.e.,I also paid for the one year service which really is a onetime service because it takes an act of congress to get them back to my house. Unfortunately I was not home when they finally showed up. They gave my wife to old I just say a water moccasin in your back yard line and told her they needed to treat our yard for the safety of our kids. I have been cutting the yard for 4 years and have never seen a water moccasin, I seen the green garden snakes but nothing else. I guess I need to check into the small claims court so I can get my money back. oh, they also love to tell sad stories about how some family member is recovering from drug addiction or someone fell on the job so they are short handed. They need to add a broken star for people like this!!

NO STARS FOR THEM! I wish I had read the previous reviews on this company. They came to treat fire ants and ended up telling me I have mice and rats in my attic. I guess this is their MO, after reading everything in these reviews. So far, they got over $900 from me, and I feel like they are really taking advantage of me now. They keep coming up with new issues so they can't finish the job and whatever it is, it's not covered under the previous price they quoted. It has reached the point where I DON"T EVER WANT THEM TO COME INTO MY HOME !!! Do yourself a favor, get someone ELSE to do your pest control....seriously!

BE ADVISED! They DO NOT have their stuff together! TOTALLY unprofessional! Had to have the same job done over & over! Each time they said they'd call to make the next appointment & didn't. I had to call each time. One appointment they didn't show. Had to call & they came. Another appointment the "Office Manager" made & didn't write in the book, so that was a no show! The last appointment was the only one that went right. Seems like every time the OM made my appointment SOMETHING went wrong! She even game me a time period that they didn't even work during because it was their office meeting time! Wow! And my initial quote for their services ended up being about $350 MORE! Their office address and phone number are even suspect! Something is very fishy about this company! I smell Flipper! DO NO PATRONIZE! VERY SUSPECT! I'd rather pay a real company an arm & leg to work over their work just for peace of mind that it is done right!

This company is terrible. The first time they came and did a termite treatment. THey charged me $490 for a one year contract. BUt it did not stop there. After few weeks, I found new pest holes on the wall of my bathroom so I called them again. A guy name Billy and his boss, I guess told me that the condition of my house is really bad and there were a colony of termite under the ground. THerefore, they would install a bait system around the house to destroy the termites. THe price they asked for was $750 and explained that this bait system did not include on the previous contract. I painfully paid more to save my house and expected them to come every three months to check that bait system. Just yesterday, Billy called me and warned me that there are other neighbors surround me having a ton of rats and those rats cause fire. This evening he came and checked my roof and scared me that I need to get them go. He would do the job with 800 bucks!!! What is on the earth! Cheater!

I would not recommend you use this business without contacting references including BBB. I issued checks to this company that were to be "shredded" and replaced with another. Miraculously! two months after the replacement check was cashed and payment was settled so were the "shredded" checks. The company has not returned my phone call or money.

ZERO Stars - Poor customer service. Charged and collected $1000 for termite treatment and then stole over $800 in cash. Check business license and BBB before conducting business with A All County Termite & Pest
