Do not go !!!!! Disgusting how they run toooo many unnecessary tests, then provide blanket results. 'Cold'

My husband and I both went in and saw two different doctors over a month a part and both were diagnosed with shingles. Neither of us had.

Today both my kids have a common cold - and after 4 hrs in their office and chest x-rays and 6 prescriptions later..... We are going home with flu pack, ibuprofen, nasal spray for both kids.

The lady taking their vitals (NOT a nurse) did not know how to use the weight scale that took my kids weight - she didn't know how to read their height.

They are a joke.

As a family we are now searching for new care professionals.

I went to the sleep center for obvious reasons. The ladies at the sleep center were wonderful. They were very kind and took really good care of me. I was comfortable and felt safe there.
The problem arised when I tried to get my results. I was told at the sleep center that I would get my results the following week. My insurance was charged 12,000 dollars and the accoount has been paid. I have called 2-3 times and each time I am sent to a voicemail telling me that I will get something in the mail and no one ever returns the call. I was seeing a doctor there as a PCP, but I will be finding a new place to go. Not sure why I can't get the results.

The point - I recommend finding a real family doctors office.

Nothing against the doctors. Everything against the billing dept. 2 years ago i got really sick and no one really knew what it ways. I had a great doctor over there who recommended we do allergy testing to see if i was allergic to something. We did the testing and turns out im allergic to cats. I dont care, i don't have, like, or am ever around cats. You can do allergy immunotherapy to get rid of allergies. It involves sticking a needle in your arm 2 times a day for 2 years and then, no longer allergic to cats. I declined this service and was very clear on it not being worth it. Sounds a bit excessive to me when i I can just stay away from cats, like i already do......duh. This was over 2 years ago. I went in for a prescription refill visit this past weekend and was told i cannot be seen. I have an outstanding balance. Turns out they made the immunotherapy even though i told them no. I am now being told i have a balance of 1400 for services i never wanted, nor did i ever receive.

In short, they made a mistake, and now want me to pay for services i did not want, and i did not ever receive!! WTF This is unacceptable. Its been over 2 years, and i visit the office every 3 months for a regular prescription refill. In 2 years you couldn't tell me that!!! If i wanted this service (that im apparently being charged for anyways) i would have at least done it!!! But obviously I never wanted this stupid excessive service.

A step up from a Motor Vehicle Department experience. Everyone is pleasant and it's fairly clean but 45 minutes post appointment to get into the exam room then another 50 minutes to be seen. Strong attempts to upsell other services, not rude, but persistent. You have to interpret what is optional or probably unnecessary.

My appointment at this location was an awesome experience. The wait time was minimal and Dr. Broussard (new doctor there) was the best! I honestly had no complaints visiting this location and this particular doctor who was patient and listened to my concerns without rushing me out the door. I rate this visit a 5.

Our family have been patients here for 5 years and have received very personalized service, even during desperate situations with our 2 kids. Every once in a while it seems like they are flying through patients, but I noticed that’s mainly in the spring and before school starts. I chalk that up to allergies (which I have and they treat) and physicals (my football playing stepson has one there every year). The front desk can be a challenge, but I also go first thing in the morning and my coffee has kicked in, so I can’t imagine theirs has either. Everyone is thorough and nice. They care about their patients and it comes across in everything they do.

AGREE TOTALLY WITH OTHER REVIEWS! RUDE!!!! Stay away. When I went there in 11/2013 the receptionist took my TDL & insurance card for over an hour looking up the coverage. There was no reason for the verification to take that long, and from my observation she was doing nothing to verify. When I approached about every 15 min. to inquire about the verification progress, she angrily SCOWLED at me "GO SIT DOWN AND WE WILL CALL YOU BACK UP." I have never been treated worse at any medical office.

I went to the 290 location to see the doc for a prescription I have been on my whole life. At other offices, this appointment took 30 min on average. Not at this office! I waited 1 hour then finally asked what was going on. The nurse said in passing, "oh we are running behind"....I ended up spending 2.5 HOURS in that office!!! Nurses & staff should let patients know when, somehow, things are running this far behind. Then the doc couldn't even write my script, so they told me to come back the next day to pick it up. When I showed up they didn't have it and I had to wait 1 HOUR for the doc to write it!!!! Ridiculous.

Then I needed a letter from the doc for insurance and it took me 2 weeks to squeeze that out of them. Then my script expired and I couldn't even get it filled. I STILL DON'T HAVE MY PRESCRIPTION, I HAVE BEEN GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THESE PEOPLE FOR 1 MONTH NOW. I called to speak with someone about it 2 days ago & they said I wasn't in the system!!!! I spent $140 cash in addition to whatever they got from my insurance, and I got nothing in return. Just a lot of waisted time and an unusual sense of anger.

aweful, aweful, aweful experience. I have been to this clinic twice and had the same thing happen. Went in for UTI and did not receive my results. Called to check and was told my urine sample was lost. Gave them another sample and still two weeks later no results. I had to call them and demand prescription. Second visit was the same, did not get my results for strep throat. Please do not waste your time with these people. All they want is your money and do not care about your health

I was a new patient of this clinic, and I would have to say I was not impressed. I was there for an annual full checkup including bloodwork. I honestly felt like it was cattle being ushered from one place to another. The Doctor came in and out burying her head in the chart never making any eye contact with me or asking if I had any questions. I could have had leprosy, and she probably wouldn't have noticed. Had bloodwork, urine sample and pap done. Told her I was on blood pressure medicine. Got a nasty look from their in house pharmacist when I told them I wanted to fill my prescription at my own pharmacy. It has been a few weeks since I was there, and I have never heard a word back from them on the test results. Am I dying? Rather doubtful, but who knows? Find another clinic.

**Update** Finally received test results in the mail with a stapled note to them to call the clinic to schedule an appointment to go over the results. I called to ask if the physician or PA could go over them with me on the phone as it is hard for me to take time off of work right now...needless to say, they said no. I would have to pay another co-pay for another appointment for them to tell me (more than likely) to lose some weight and exercise more...sheesh!

My first visit to this facility was for a woman's exam and I must say I was a little nervous because I hadn't been to the doctor in ages. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment I found out that the doctor had canceled! I was a little annoyed but went ahead and rescheduled. When I came back the following week I must say I was very happy with the care I receieved. Yes it went a little quick but not without them finding out what could be wrong with me. See I was just there for a woman's exam and Dr. Amy Habero discovered that I could have a thyroid disorder and she's immediately scheduled for me to come back so we can get my health back on track. I am thankful to her because I've been trying to figure this out for years! I filled out my paperwork, had my weight and blood pressure taken, did my woman's exam and blood work all within an hour and half. And they were really nice and made me very comfortable throughout the entire thing. IN fact I never had my blood taken before because of being poked to death which made me too naseous in the past to go through with it. The lady who did my bloodwork succeed and knew exactly what to do! I would highly recommend them.

I HAVE ATTEND THIS OFFICE FOR LAST TEN YEARS. I HAVE RECEIVED EXCELLENT SERVICES FROM DR. SISON. HOWEVER, VISITED ER SERVICE AND HAD A VISIT WITH DR. ASMA AHMAD. THIS DR. WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE LEFT THE OFFICE WITHOUT COMPLETION OF MY VISIT. THE NURSING STAFF WAS NOT AWARE OF WHAT HER ORDERS FOR ME. THIS I FELT WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND I DID NOT FEEL THIS VISIT SHOULD BE PAID BY MY INSURANCE. I WILL NEVER ACCEPT MEDICAL TREATMENT FROM THIS DOCTOR IN THE FUTURE.

these physicians are on top of everything. I have been to multiple doctors in the past and they just told me that everything is OK without doing diagnostic testing where as at 1960 family practice, the physicians are well trained & they discovered what's wrong with me and given me the appropriate meds/ treatment. I feel like I am in capable hands. If you need someone who is on top of their games; know what they are doing; strong in their knowledge & skills; this is the place.

I have been a patient here for almost 6 years and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Whenever I need to speak with my doctor I call in and I always recieve a call back the same day! I always feel very comfortable when in the room with the doctor. I would highly recommed this practice!!!
