BEST VET AND OFFICE STAFF EVER!!



Dr. Neal, Mrs. Tracy, and the staff at Animal Kingdom are the best! Dr. Neal was our vet for about 15 years. We relocated to another part of the state and that's the only reason we are no longer able to visit them in person for our pet's needs. Even so, they have been extremely generous in providing phone support for us during our transition to another vet.



Over those years they helped provide care for 3 Westies, 1 Yorkie, and 2 Cherry-head conures. Two of the Westies each lived to be over 15 years old. This wouldn't have been possible without Animal Kingdom's help. They always took the time to make sure our pets were getting the best care possible and to educate us on how to do a good job providing the daily care. In each situation we were fully informed on any options available for the specific incident being treated and were never pressured into following a certain course. It was always explained as "this is what we're dealing with, these are the options available to you, and this is what might possibly happen if the ailment isn't treated properly". Even if we hadn't chosen to use Animal Kingdom to follow through with the treatment option, their primary concern was that the pet received the proper care, regardless of where you chose to go.



They provide great emergency care. Calls are always returned promptly by Dr. Neal, usually within just 3 or 4 minutes. He has met us at his clinic in the middle of the night on more than one occasion. We were never made to feel as if we were an intrusion or the call unwarranted.



Our pets were boarded with Animal Kingdom on many, many occasions and were given the best care available. Believe me.....if my pets had not been happy, they wouldn't have jerked my arm off trying to get to the back room where their "penthouse" awaited them.



I can only say that we very much miss being able to visit Animal Kingdom. Their dedication and knowledge is second to none. We've recommended them to so many people and will continue to do so.

The vet and staff are very caring and understanding. The prices are not any more than any other local vet. I've never priced the big stores that provide services. You get what you pay for. If you consider your animal to be one of the family, bring it to Animal Kingdom in Houma, Louisiana. My pet was sick, and instead of leaving her at the office overnight, he took her home to care for her. This vet has a drop-off service where you can drop the animal off on your way to work, and pick it up on the way home. The boarding charges are so reasonable. I feel like my animals are safe, and well-cared for when I drop them off.

I have been bringing my dog there for a few years now and never really bothered to price shop. I definately feel like I have been taken advantage of over the years after getting prices for other services from other vets in town. The staff is great and very friendly but the prices are not. I have also recently found out that this particular vet holds back information from you just to get you to choose their procedure or product when in actually you could have something else done for MUCH less elsewheres. Im not trying to bash them and I do believe they have you pets best interest in mind, but not yours. Also the doctor is very, very pushy. So if you don't mind spending a lot of money on a doctor shoving specialty food, products, and specific unneccessary procdures down your throat, you'll love this clinic.
