Horrible experience! When I made appointment they took my insurance information and told me I would be covered. They also scheduled me for an annual. Turns out not only did they not accept my insurance but they charged me for a problem visit along with an annual visit. To make it worse Dr Mahlab acted completely unprofessional, she didn't know answers to my questions so she pulled our her laptop and googled it! She kept me waiting over 30 minutes before she came back in room to do annual exam. It was the worst experience ever. Completely unprofessional office who seems to like to scam their patients as well. Call your insurance first don't trust them when they say they accept your insurance.

As long as you don't have to call for an emergency, question or perscription or any other reason you will be ok. Unfortunately, when dealing with a doctor's office you DO have to call. This office NEVER, and i mean NEVER answers the phone under 5 minutes. The doctors are wonderful, which is why i am still a patient. The office staff's awareness of patients needs and time is absolutely TERRIBLE. It is very frustrating!!!!!

PRESCRIPTION REFILLS

I have been a patient with this practice for 8 years. I have difficulty getting prescription refills called into the pharmacy in a timely manner. I called in a prescription refill on Wednesday and as of Friday am it has not been called in to my pharmacy. (after speaking to the office on both Wednesday and Thursday). I spoke with the answering service at 5pm on Thursday and was told that the physicians were in the office until 6pm but would not take any calls regarding prescription refills until the next business day ( even after I explained to them that I had already been waiting two days!). Their answer to me was that the service has orders from the doctors to not transfer any calls to them unless it is an emergency. I don't believe that waiting three days for a prescription refill to be called in is acceptable and I don't believe that a physician refusing to address the needs of a patient in a timely manner is acceptable either.
