I honestly think that Jake has got talent but I must say I am very disappointed with how my tattoo came out and my experience. While some of the things I requested for the tattoo may have been my own fault, I feel it came out very distorted. I wanted a hand holding a red geode, I found the hand pose I wanted and asked if we could put the geode in her hand. I gave him my phone so he could sketch something out, he did it very quickly, then hand sketched the geode into her hand. I originally wanted it smaller but he was pushing for bigger which I understand for detailing so I agreed with him. I also wasn’t pleased with how the geode looked because it looked like it was going to look like fruit (when I showed my friends they thought it was a pomegranate not a geode). He also had a way of pushing things in order to add certain things to the tattoo which I didn’t really want. We then went to place the sketch on my arm, he worked well with me to figure out placing but when he put it on he smudged it a lot. We went on to start the tattoo and almost every time he brought the needle over he sprayed ink all over the design and continued to tattoo with the ink all over the design. Once the tattoo was finished I looked at it kinda disappointed, he told me to clean it with antibacterial soap and not to put ointment on it. He also did not bandage it. Every place I have gone to get a tattoo has told me to NEVER use antibacterial soap on a tattoo only unscented regular soap and to always apply ointment after the first hour or so. I was also told to take a paper towel and apply pressure to clear up any blood and to ice it. I honestly have never had to do any of this stuff to my tattoos before. Overall, the experience wasn’t good and I walked out unsatisfied. Jake seems cool, he has done some great work but I wouldn’t recommend going to him.

What an Amazing artist Jake is and a real professional! He goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and relaxed. The tatoo was better than I Had expected. My husband and I will never go anywhere else.

I must say Jake is a very Talented artist. And an amazing person! I felt so comfortable and relaxed the whole 4 plus hours I was there. His work is outstanding!! I will send him anyone I know looking to get some work done!! Thank you Jake!!

I had lots of ideas for tattoos in my head.. I had a main focus point and other ideas spiraling off of that. Eager to make it all happen... like yesterday!
I went down to meet with Jake from NHCustomTattoo, at his shop in Hooksett, NH. He showed me around the parlor, toured the tattooing room and equipment. (Everything is single use, sterile and very VERY clean). We then started pulling some of my ideas and coming up with a good plan to make it happen.

I showed up for my appointment, excited and ready. So did Jake!!! When he began drawing the tattoo with his marker on my back, I knew right then and there that it was going to be one amazing piece of art. We are just finishing the outline for a majestic, winter weeping willow. The end piece... will be nothing short of amazing!

My hat goes off to Jake. Not only for his unique skills, but for being on top of his game! Great customer service!! He is just as enthusiastic as you are to have the perfect piece come alive.
I will be more than happy to point others seeking custom tattooing in his direction!!! Thanks Jake!!

i have known Jake for several years, i have seen his talents and professional skill first hand. i've watched and witnessed some of his best work in person, as he turned client's bodies into collections of incredible art!. jake has a very quick, light hand, i've seen extremely fresh tattoo work on his clients that look as if they were already there before they showed up, no redness, no puffiness, just really great custom artwork that Jake made look easy. i cannot say enough about his passion, his ability, his heart, and how much he cares for his clients and their wants and needs. on top of everything, jake works with just about any budget and bends over backwards to make sure his clients are 100% satisfied and elated with their new ink! :) i would recommend jake and NH CUSTOM TATTOO to anyone looking for a clean, professional atmosphere, with staff who go the extra mile to please. check this tattoo parlor out and see for yourself why people keep coming back time and time again!.
