Although this is a beautiful beach to visit, I would not get in the water here. We heard
from several people that this is a dangerous beach and about every possible warning sign is posted warning of the dangerous surf. As the lifeguard told us, it looks calm, but the waves break with incredible power on shore and cause many neck and back injuries and even death for experienced swimmers and boarders. Great place to look at, but not for swimming or boogie boarding.
