Located in Honolulu, Hawaii Baptist Academy is a Christian college preparatory serving since 1993. The academy offers education to more than 1,000 students of grades kindergarten through 12. Its academic program includes Bible, English, journalism, fine arts, mathematics, physical education, science and social studies. The academy elementary school offers classes in reading, phonics, spelling, handwriting, language, art, computer and music. Hawaii Baptist Academy additionally provides education in drug and sex education. It offers various world language programs in French, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin. The academy has several sports teams in swimming, diving, football, baseball, softball, wrestling, soccer, water polo, canoe paddling, kayaking, judo and gymnastics. Hawaii Baptist Academy is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and affiliated with Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention.
