I have used Tichenors many times over the past 20 years. Their work is terrific, and prices more than fair. Who else will come to your home for a free estimate, and then complete the work then and there?

They have told me NOT to go ahead with repairs on inferior furniture. From making custom leaves for a dining room table, to repairing a banged up solid cherry bedroom set, they have always come through. Honest, old fashioned craftsmanship at an affordable price.

I, as well as many family members have had work done from Tichenor's for many years. You will not find another place around that can do the quality work that they can. I believe they have been in business over 50 years and that alone says something. I have read another review that states they she left something there and they were preping it for re-sale. I don't know if this lady has seen their shop, but they definately do not need to work on items that a customer has said not to work on. I have to admit, I left a piece there for almost a year and forgot to give them the okay on it and they called me several times to find out if I wanted to proceed with work or pick it up. Bottom line ..they do beautiful work and are very honest. If a piece is not worth doing, the will tell you, but if it is, you will not be disappointed in the quality of work they do.
