Darin, the man behind World of Woodcraft is a smooth talker. He gives you a great price on installing these 'fabulous' cabinets and will even offer to do the tile work for you. Well, let's start with the fact that he never shows up when he says he is going to show up. He is always at least 30 minutes late. A 3-5 day job according to his contract turns into almost 5 weeks. He does everything half ass. The corner cabinets have a big open space below them, because the cabinets do not get set flush with the wall, I assume to save a buck or two on the wood, so he leaves it like that. He gouged my front door when removing my old cabinets, gouged five walls down to the metal on the corner that I now I have to repair, he didn't install one of the shelves because he said he couldn't reach it, told me to hire my handyman to do it. He broke a chunk off my horse statue in the living room when he pushed all the new cabinets against my entertainment center after assembling them. He does not include drilling holes in the doors to add knobs. His tile work is subpar! The tiles were uneven, 39 spots where grout was missing, the tiles were not taken up to the bottom of the cabinet. I had to have him remove some of the tiles and reset them because it looked like a 3 year old did it. There is grout all over the electrical outlets. One electrical outlet, the tile was installed over the screw, so you couldn't get the electrical outlet back in. He gouged my new epoxy countertop, he didn't caulk. Installing the sink apparently was not included in the price, either. Everything is a mess, the inside of the cabinets are a mess, there is grout and thin set everywhere, on the tiles, floor and on the counter. While his price was somewhat cheaper than two other cabinet companies I priced. In the long run, it would have been cheaper to go with them. Very dissatisfied with the quality of work. I have to hire someone to complete the job properly. Some pics attached but not all.
