Passed my boards with ease. Learned exactly what I needed. Cresta cares about her students and it shows. Super positive experience.

I attended Stanley Harris. The only thing I look back on and liked about Stanley Harris is the Atmosphere. Super cute. I'm not usually one to talk negative about something...but this school was not even close to professional.

1.) Not equal/fair treatment.
2.) Horrible instructors, they find the easy way out for everything.
3.) Instructors bring negative-ness into a professional place
4.) some girls pay for missed days some don't. its a popularity contest.
5.) good luck passing boards with cresta...she sucks at giving you information, you have to ASK. its like you're your own teacher...sooo what am I paying for?
6.) It's cresta's place for gossip and talk about her personal life and the 920489305 guys she goes through in the 11 months that youre there.
..wish I had good things to say, really...its super cute, just needs better management and classy instructors :(

awesome location, good price, cute salon..poor management!!

we always went to great clips for our boys' haircuts, but then when they started wanting actual hairstyles (like the trendy undercut with hard part) great clips really started failing. after several bad cuts, we went to Stanley harris, and they were so good. it took a little bit longer, but I understand that they are students and also that quality, more precise cuts should take longer than 10 minutes. we've had different stylists each time, and all of them have been great. my 8 yr old can't stop smiling when his cut is done. :) we're all very happy with it.

I was a student here and they were nothing like waht they made it out to be. Teh instructors never helped us girls do anything, and were more worried about catching up on the latest gossip and taking about parties and boyfriends then teaching.( Even the owner Cresta!!!) So i decided to transfer to BOOKER in Holland!! When i went to do this Cresta wouldnt send my hours into the state, come to find out she didnt want to b/c she never did since the day i started!!! So i get a letter back from the state of Michigan saying that they had no record of me going to school, even though i had been there for like 3 months!! So i took her to the state of Michigan/ State Board and they fined her $2000.00. Come to find out im not the first person she had done this to!!! So dont let your kids go here, and girls dont even think about going here unless you want to get scamed!!! Go anywhere else but here, she may make it look fun, but you need an education! go anywhere but here!! She dosent deserve any stars, but you have to give at least one when writing a review :(
