Good nice friendly atmosphere

We were there for a small family reunion and for one it says no smoking on the bathroom door and someone kept going in there to smoke. My kids had to use the potty and had to be around that smell. Two the host I am guessing is some creepy guy walking around asking if you needed help with your tent. Of course I didn't need help that is why I have directions. Third the lady that was the other host I guess was yelling up a storm about her " candy" and she seems either on something or drunk. This place is not a good environment for kids. The owners are disrespectful and just plan angry sounding all the time. If I were you I would spend the extra 15 bucks on a nicer campground or a KOA camp.

It was quiet, shady and most of all convenient. We did not come for the beach but to explore Holland, Grand Haven and more. Would stay there again.

This campgound needs MAJOR renovation! The owners DO NOT maintain this campground at all. Bathrooms, Electric, Picnic Tables, Plumbing, Pool, Roads and Signs - Campsites/Enterance MUST be UPDATED! Their website is atroucious! It needs major work on it! It is very outdated with links that don't work!

Stayed at this campground in August 2008. The electrical needs to be updated!!!, the playground left much to the imagination. I paid $30 per night, which I thought was high for what they offered. The bathroom stalls were VERY small, you could hardly sit on the toilet without your knees hitting the door. It was grassy, but think it's probably because they haven't had many campers.
