Best Karate School

My kids love Bustos. Sensei Matt is an awesome teacher and truly loves the kids and what he does. He has taught both of my kids so many things that have improved their confidence, coordination and self discipline. Would definitely recommend Bustos in Holbrook to everyone. The entire staff is amazing and great with all the kids.

Sensei Matt and the staff at Bustos are absolutely amazing! Bustos has become a second home for my family as well as MANY others and I couldn't imagine the thought of going somewhere else. The day I won a free month through Holbrook Macaroni Kid completely changed our lives! My 2 boys have become so much more confident in all aspects of life, school work, manners, etc. Sensei Matt makes every single class different for the kids to make it an enjoyful way to learn the history of Kenpo, the techniques and what and when to apply them! The recognition that is given to the kids is so outstanding and such a morale booster for them also! Sensei Matt is a huge supporter of good behavior for all of his students and ensures that all the kids are doing well in school and at home before being able to continue participation at Karate, A REAL CLASS ACT! Karate classes are amazing, all the special camps and events for kids, and the adult bootcamp class that I am hooked on is amazing! Don't bother looking elsewhere, Bustos is the place to be!

First post is a scam...

1st post was submitted by Bustos competition. They should be scared, Bustos is better. Family style dojo, age appropriate instruction, and solid streetwise karate going on at Bustos. As a teacher I would know the difference between fluff and solid instruction, and Sense Matt is solid. My son has never been more confident, powerful and both mentally and physically fit. Don't believe the hype, Bustos is the only place my son will go!

Having a background in the Martial Arts, I was extremely selective on what karate school I sent my sons to. Sensei Matt and his staff are great! My boys are learning, building confidence and having a great time. Not only does Sensei Matt work well with children, he is phenomenal with his adult classes. I personally joined karate as well as Boot Camp and I am learning so much. In addition to teaching Kenpo, Sensei Matt goes to extreme efforts to master different styles of karate that gets incorporated into class.

Simply the BEST! From the moment you walk into Busto's you realize that you are not in just another karate studio. Sensei Matt is incredibly knowledgeable. His teaching style is engaging and inspiring. He has a gift for bringing out the best in his students. (Classes for kids and adults) They learn techniques in an interactive way that inspires them to learn more and try more. Techniques, respect, self esteem are the trade marks of this outstanding school.

Great school

Great school for people of all ages. The previous review is obviously from a jealous person and there are no classes for two year olds at this school. And any "bag jumping" is part of having fun and keeping for. My two kids train there and learn techniques, endurance, and respect. Sensei Matt is a great instructor and takes the time to interact personally with all of his students.

Come on down and see for yourself!!!!

Another McDojo but, more expensive

The school is very nice for 2 year old kids. But, if you are really looking for your child to learn martial arts and to defend themselves. You should really look else where. Children are "not taught" martial art basics but, to jump over bags. I can get my kids to do this at McDonalds(McDojo)
