Is there a review that gives negative stars? If so, then this business is most assuredly deserving of it. I brought my months old winter coat here to be dry cleaned and they burned the fur on the hood, which cannot be repaired. This high end brand name coat cost almost $300. I had to call the owner Mr. Ted Aveni 5-6 times before i could actually get him on the phone, as he didn't see fit to return the 3 messages i left him. Then to my utter shock and disbelief, he proceeded to tell me he had no intention of making any sort of restitution whatsoever because i could still wear the coat!!! Is this the response of a stand up guy I ask? Is this how a respectable businessman and an honest and honorable individual should react to a valid customer complaint??? In an effort to stand up for myself, i filed a small claims suit against him, but since he must think he’s above the law, he didn't show up in court OR even acknowledge the courts order for him to pay up......little does he know that an arrest warrant has now been issued for him. Just a word to the wise- if you value your garments, DON’T bring them here cause chances are you will live to regret it....
