I eat there frequently and it's consistent. Been around 80 years so they must be doing something right. Lol. My go to place for breakfast and lunch.

Food was extremely over rated. Atmosphere was classic Florida. Service was subpar at best. Do not waste your time or money on the steak. I was in the Marine Corps eating in a chow hall last time I had to put ketchup on a steak to choke it down.

Great fun atmosphere but both dinners, appetizers and soups were just bad. The crab bisque soup smelled foul, the coconut fried shrimp were burned, the white rice smelled like febreeze and the vegetables looked like they were from a Green Giant freezer bag and tasted freezer burnt. The hot wings were very good and very hot. We did not enjoy our dinner, but I hear their breakfast is delicious.

Always a fun place to eat and meet with friends. Mom will seranade you if the band isn't playing.
