I have been taking my babies there since 2004
I have lost two of mine but still have a 15 year old Yorkie I trust MVAH with my precious girl as I have with all of them! The front staff as well as techs and a Doctors are the best!

Horrible experience!!! I switched to Middle Valley from Riverview Animal Hospital on the Northshore, because it was closer to my house. This is my second visit to Middle Valley with an appointment time at 10:30am. I waited 50 minutes past my appointment time in the lobby. Finally got into a room, where I waited another 10 minutes. Vet comes in asks me routine questions then out of the room. I wait another hour in the room before walking out. The whole time I am in the room, I can hear the staff talking about what they want to order from Choo Choo Bbq. My dog never received a wellness examination. They only apologized about my wait time after I waited 2 hours. They could have come in and tried to explain why they were so behind, but they didn’t. They don’t seem to value their patients/customers time. I will be going to back to Riverview.

I've seen the technicians there strangle my dog while restraining him ( he is a 5 pound Chihuahua)! , also to talk bad about me and my dog while the door was shut. Her name was Nicole and she has a smart mouth! I told the human resource lady and she told me she didn't believe my accusations! These people are rude, mouthy, and disrespectful. Won't take my dog there again!

I've never had such a good experience with a vet's office. They treat my dog as their own and her comfort is their primary concern. My Maltese recently had to be spayed and have some puppy teeth removed. They removed at least seven teeth and didn't charge me for the teeth extractions. I also had to bring her back in because she was in some pain immediately after when she would do her business. They worked me in within an hour of my phone call and only charged me for the medications I received. The staff is very courteous to myself and sweet to my dog. the groomer is also one of the best I have used. For the same price as the chain groomers you get more attention to detail and higher quality grooming. They also helped us through a pretty bad surprise flea infestation. Through their very affordable recommendations we had our flea problem solved within hours.

I have to say that this is a VERY busy clinic so the staff is kind of 'to the point' with the animal parents. That being said, they were great! Despite the rush, they explained everything quite thoroughly and seemed to be very professional as well as good with the animals.

The prices were reasonable (I just moved from Nashville, so compared to there, they were downright cheap!)

I really don't know what warranted the low ratings in the past, but they seem to have their act together. I'll use them again.

We recently had to put our 10-yr-old dog to sleep and had been seeing Dr. Tonya Campbell for over a year with our pet's medical needs. She was very attentive to our concerns over the past year and always promptly returned our calls. When it came time to sadly put him to sleep she reassured us that we were doing the right thing and was very sympathetic to our loss. During one of the most difficult events in our family's life, she put at ease. The office staff was also willing to take back our last supply of medicine for a refund and was also sympathetic with our loss. A week later, I received a sympathy card with a handwritten note from Dr. Campbell and it meant a lot that she thought of our precious dog, knowing he was a special part of our family. We will be forever grateful for her caring, considerate bedside manner and will definitely see her again when we adopt a new "baby".

We have taken our dogs to Middle Valley Animal Hospital for almost 5 years (since moving to town), and have never had a problem. The people are friendly, and do their jobs well.
