Today I ordered the BBQ Ribs and Pico de Gallo Chicken w/ "garlicey" green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. The ribs had a nice sweet sauce but the meat was anything but falling off the bone tender - not at all. It was tough and stringy. The chicken was poorly cooked as well meaning that it was very dry and tough. As to the green beans, if you are going to entitle them "garlicey" you had better be able to taste the garlic. I could detect garlic but only a hint of it - far from being as pronounced as I think it should be to receive the moniker of "garlicey"! As far as the potatoes are concerned I couldn't detect any garlic whatsoever. So between the tough stringy meats both and the lack of garlic specifically titled such I'd give the dish a C- today. Will probably not order that dish from Applebee's again! Sad because they are capable of better. It's as if they have hired new cooks (I can't refer them as chef's because a chef would never allow this poor quality of an entre out of the kitchen!) I didn't send it back but probably should have.

Waited for ten minutes for a hostess to come back up front to seat us. Staff had a "I couldn't care less attitude" and the food was lousy. Everything tastes like it was taken out of a cardboard box from the freezer and microwaved. My family will not be wasting our time here again.
