I never write reviews but my experience at Andrew’s Clocks & Watches in Hillsdale was so positive, that I just HAD to write this one. I was told by three different repair places that my 2- Bell Large alarm clock would not be worth fixing because the cost would be prohibitive, and that the alarm portion of the clock simply couldn’t be fixed. Having an odd attachment to this old clock, I decided to bring it to Andrew’s Clock because of his (well deserved) 4.9 rating on Google. I was prepared to hear once again, that it wasn't worth fixing. or that it would have to be left a while for repair . . . but much to my delight, Russell Andrew, the proprietor, started working on it right on the spot while I waited ! ! Not only did he fix all the issues that this old clock had, but in no time, I heard the cheerful sound of the BELLS CHIMING on the clock ! ! ! ! He exceeded all expectations I had with this old clock and the cost was very fair.

I can't say enough about his skill and professionalism. In a world where everything is "disposable", finding a true craftsman with integrity is rare.

I will take all my future clock repair needs to Andrew’s Clocks and you should too! Bravo, Russell Andrews ! ! !

I brought a beautiful Westminster chime clock that was really almost beyond repair to Russell. He was very up front, honest and said he'd try his best. What I really liked is that he walked me through the process in our phone conversations and explained every step, letting me decide if I wanted to proceed. When all was said and done, I had my clock fixed at a very fair price. Not only is Russell a true craftsman, he has integrity. I can't recommend him enough.

Wow, in our disposable society it is rare to fine someone skilled enough to care for something meant to be handed down through generations. Russell Andrews, proprietor of Andrew's Clocks uses his high level of skills to preserve and restore all of our heirloom clocks. Andrew's Clocks has been servicing clocks in this area for several generations. My father began bringing our family cuckoo clock and an antique porcelain clock to Mr. Andrew!s father several decades ago. Now those same clocks are serviced by Russell Andrews. Thanks to the Andrews family's high level of skill and integrity these very old clocks are runny perfectly and ready to be handed down to future generations.

Caring for any antique clock can be a little costly but these are usable pieces of history. My antique clock was the heartbeat of my grandmother's home and one day will be the heartbeat of my grandchildren's home. For me it is worth the piece of mind to have my clocks serviced right and this is the business I would trust to do so.

He seems knowledgeable on clock mechanisms, but I felt he could not be trusted so I left. I brought him my grandfather clock mechanism and he immediately started to talk about more costly repairs that were not necessary.

I went to Andrews Clocks and Watches in Hillsdale because I needed a professional....period.

The guy in Westwood falls miserably short of the mark... don't even bother!



Russell Andrews is a devoted, talented clocksman and repaired my little tabletop pendulum clock to function BETTER than it had been when I first purchased it years ago..



My wife and I are very grateful to Mr. Andrews for doing a top shelf job in a short amount of time.

Highly recommend. Mr. Andrews repaired my 100+ year old grandfather clock -- it is like a family member. He is knowledgeable, cares about his work, charges fairly for his service and is happy to share his knowledge. I gave him our antique kitchen clock as the next project.
