Bought a air conditioner pa brand for my room size 12x12 5000 btu was not told that they do not make refunds when I paid. Its performance totally sucked and I was told I could return it. Upon doing so I was told they would have to look it over had to leave it there over night of course I was told it was fine and they would not do a refund. Great I worked two days to pay for this and it does not perform why would I want it. Beware if you by from here and it doesn't work as you expect you are out your money.

Wont wait on you, stand there and look at you, and talk, drive all the way to town, and have to call to find out what I want to know, last time in hardware, the kid didn't know what It was I wanted, and just walked off, in the furniture store, the same, the sales person went to check, and never came back, service is the worst, ive ever seen, with exception of Walmart, ok I'll go buy a water heater some where else.

Shopped there for years - friendly, knowledgeable staff. So convenient; open every day. Always helpful. Nothing like a small town classic hardware store. Thanks, Gelzer's!

Their employees give some of the best customer service I've received, and they carry a good stock.

Passed through this place while I was visiting my friend at Hillsdale College, the guys there were really helpful and knowledgeable. I don't know anything about their return policy, but I imagine if you're not the type to buy things and return them after you're through using them you'll have a positive experience there.

Prices are high and service is HORRIBLE. They have a sketchy unofficial return policy and are not up front about their business practices. In the past I have shopped here for the convenience, but working with them has been nothing but a headache. Go somewhere else in Hillsdale County for your sporting goods/hardware needs.
