We used Ricks fencing after meeting with a representative at the Portland home & garden show. They came out and measured for our back fence and we decided to have them deliver all the materials and we would put the fence up ourselves. The materials were delivered in April. The trouble first started when we ran out of the provided stain before even getting through one side of the boards. We than ran out of boards. It has only been about four months since we put the fence up with the proper spacing and almost half of the boards have warped ( some even cracked in the middle ). I would not recommend them to anyone after this experience.

We have already commented (positive) on our service and the employees of Rick's during our deck purchase. All was good.I want to commend you on your community involvement and spirit for your generous contribution to the Little League Iron Pigs. It is this community involvement that "keeps giving". I only hope that a few of the "Iron Pigs" remember and "pay forward" in the future.Thanks again.Russ and Darleen

Ty's the greatest. Very helpful and professional. We've used Rick's twice and will again when we have future projects.The guy's working out in the yard as well as your driver's and installer's have always been courteous and able to answer any other questions we might have. We would recommend your company to anyone.

If you really knew the man RICK STANLEY and his lack of ethics you would run !!! But go ahead and get a bid... but get more too. I would not be supprised if he writes his own reviews....What a Shcumk !!!

My husband decided to put up a new fence at our home in Cedar Mill. We bought the materials from Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking, and had them delivered. A truck load of posts, boards, rails, concrete and assorted hardware arrive. I have never forgotten how polite and courteous the delivery driver was. It was mid summer and hot. My husband offered to help unload but the delivery driver wouldn't let him. The polite young man stacked every board, post and rail in our driveway, neat and nice. After a glass of lemonade, he was on his way. We rented an auger from Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking (best deal in town). My husband and our two kids installed the fence in a couple of weekends. That was our first experience with Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking. Several years later, Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking designed a beautiful second story deck with cover. Had a deck built about 3 weeks ago for over $4,000. One of the support beams is half inch higher than the others making a ridge on the deck. Not only might this be a tripping hazard, it is ugly. Then there is the loose railing post that wiggles and the two deck boards that weren't cut square and flush. Lots of examples of poor workmanship.
