Hillsboro Vac & Sew is the Best!

The staff at Hillsboro Vac & Sew are terrific! I took in four vintage Viking sewing machines. Two of the machines had been declared unrepairable by by another Viking dealer. Ron, Glenn and Mike had all four machines completely repaired/restored in just two weeks. Outstanding work and excellent customer service. I recommend Hillsboro Van & Sew unconditionally!

Horrible customer service

I took my sewing machine to them on Feb 7th, a Saturday. I was told that my machine would be finished that very day, just a couple of hours and they would call me to come pick it up. I never heard from them the entire day, nor the next day. Monday I gave them a call and was told they needed to order a part. I was never asked or informed of this. I was told the part would come in 3-7 days. After a week and a half when I still hadn't heard from them, I again had to call them, and the part still wasn't in. I continued to call them at least once a week because they would NEVER call me, even after multiple promises that they would call me. I finally went into the store and got my machine back from them on March 20th (6 weeks later) and was still charged an outrageous amount). They acted like it wasn't their problem. DO NOT TAKE THEM YOUR REPAIRS. I have had WONDERFUL customer service from Stark's Vacuums. I would take my vacuums there.
