Outstanding Service

Had collision work done on my car. After they were done it looked like new. Very impressed with the service.

Poor quality service on a 67 Mustang

My car came back horribly done. Terrible customer service that acts more knowledgeable than they actually are. They make mistakes that will cost you down the road, have poor time management (despite agreeing upon timings ahead of time), and in the end leave you paying more for their stupidity. Never again - I would rather sell my classic then go to these fools again. Too bad I cannot post the full review I have done... I will definitely put that elsewhere that allows for it. I want everyone to know how bad a situation can get with this shop over things they claim to know so well and have done in the past. The only person I appreciate here is the owner, Shane, but the people are so incompetent it pains me that I was so naive to think they did good work based on pictures on their wall. Oh well, you live and learn.

Small and funny things worth noting (only funny because time has passed):

1. Said my car was ready for pickup... I go and the car doesn't even start. Then I proceeded to sit in the sun for an hour and a half as they try to figure it out and fix it. Oh, good!
2. Front desk says one thing (example: "your car has not had any tuning done") while the staff says another thing (example: "so I adjusted your carburetor"). Great to know everyone is on the same page and knows what each other are doing.
3. My dual exhaust is uneven after getting my car back. I use to get compliments on how well another shop did the dual exhaust and headers... now they are misaligned and not perfectly even.

Just do yourself a favor... bring your car here if you wish anything negative upon it.

EDIT/UPDATE - It is funny when you get replies from negative reviews but they do little to address what the overall problems were. Yes, I ordered a lot of my own parts which isn't uncommon. A shop should be diligent in ensuring and verifying everything to make every job successful.

A) What is in the items I purchased - I gave them a full listing of all the items contained in the kit. A good shop would be smart enough to review the contents and say, "Hey, we might need some extra stuff to do this..." and let me know. Again, this would be something a smart shop would do and I have had shops do this in the past. They wouldn't wait until they are putting it together to halt progress being made. This is, mind you, a shop who is supposedly familiar with this particular transmission shop as well.

B) Again, timing seems to be something this shop struggles with understanding. I gave them a time frame that they were more than comfortable with. It wouldn't be on me if they didn't review all of the items I delivered to them. They are still on the line for delivering their services in that time frame. Do not agree to something you cannot commit to and try to put it on the customer that she or he purchased something and you guys prefer to do that yourselves. I never heard of a car shop functioning like that who is supposed to be so customer-facing.

I am the first to admit I am no car guru, but for the place to turn around and say that it was unusual for me to order the parts for them is odd to me. Especially from a shop that deals with classic restoration. But I digress, just be safe going into this place and make no assumptions regarding them being "on it."

Quality work at a reasonable rate and no headache or heartburn

In 2011 I started to restore a '71 Challenger convertible that I have owned since 1984. After spending too much money and feeling abused by the other shop, I pulled the plug. The project was about 75% complete and there was some rework that needed to be done. In 2013 I met Shane, checked out his current projects and just talked cars. I walked away from that meeting thinking I had found the right guy. Shane gave me a very reasonable estimate of the cost to complete the project. He and his team completed the car on time and at the estimated cost. He is very detail oriented - pointing out a few things that I had not noticed. I am extremely happy with the finished product. I would highly recommend Crossroad Customs for any job small or large. If I ever restore another car, I won't look any further than Crossroad Customs.

Shane & team did an outstanding job on 62 Impala. From rust repair to final paint the work was done to excellent standards. It is an honest shop that does short cut any processes!A Holy Buckets at best.

Nice work on my Harley

I had a 2009 Harley with some polished aluminum pieces that I didn't want to keep polishing. The Harley shop wanted an arm and a leg for "replacement" pieces that were black wrinkle powdercoated or chromed. Crossroad Customs was able to remove my original pieces, have them powdercoated and chromed and back on my Harley in about 3 weeks and for about 70% of the quote I got from the Harley shop. I've been very pleased with the results and the finish has held up just fine since they finished my bike (about 6 months ago).

Honest company that made me feel at home and comfortable at the shop, LOVE my Mustang!

I bought a project car, at late 60's Mustang, and soon found myself over my head. I was hesitant to pick a custom shop because I heard so many horror stories about people getting charged HUGE amounts of money and getting poor results. After doing a lot of research, I found Crossroad Customs, and the reviews and the message on their website got me to actually give them a call to see what I would be in for regarding what I wanted to do to my Mustang and how much it would cost. When I got to the shop, I found a very friendly staff that took me on a tour of the place, explained what they were doing on each car, and showed me a little bit about each one and how my car would get the same quality treatment. Then, then sat down with me and asked me what I wanted, what my vision was for my Mustang. stock restore, custom, performance upgrades, color, interior, everything. I explained what I wanted and they put together a detailed estimate based on my desires. They explained each line item in detail so I understood everything that would be done to my car. They even showed me suspension upgrade packages and told me for the level of performance I wanted they recommended the one that was about middle of the price range and cheaper to install! They also explained the timeline, process, and how and why custom and restoration work can get more expensive and take longer based on problems found. They were honest and upfront with me and I felt comfortable with what they were offering and what I could expect.During the restore process they encouraged me to come into the shop whenever I wanted, and they were always happy to show me what was going on any time I stopped by. They also were diligent in contacting me whenever they had found something that deviated from the estimate, and gave me options on how to proceed. I always felt informed and in control regarding my project and the direction it was heading. When my Mustang was done, I was completely happy with the results. In fact, they had to show me some things that they did that I wouldn't have noticed on my own. Comparing the work they did on my car with other cars in my car club I can now see the difference in quality, and I feel I got every penny's worth!

Awesome guys at Crossroad Customs!

Really great guys at Crossroad Customs. Although I didn't have work performed on my truck, I didn't hesitate to choose their shop for my customization. They are upfront with their estimates and understand the needs of their customers.

Unmatched Talent

The Crossroad Customs crew are phenomenal. Not only are they meticulous about the fit & finish of every vehicle they work on, they are "car guys" to the core. Shane, the master fabricator, doesn't believe in aftermarket plastic mass-produced modifications. He understands that your ride is a reflection of you, and it should be as unique as you.Drop by the shop sometime and look at the work they do. It is unmatched.

Amazing creativity and craftsmanship

I have known Shane since our kids played T-Ball together. He has always placed quality and crafsmanship above all else. As his CPA I make regular visits to his shop and as a car guy I am always amazed at what he's working on the innovative ways he has crafted a solution to any situation he faces during a restoration. He has built a great team and can take your project, no matter how rough and help you envision a dream and then create it. Makes me wish I still had my old muscle car.........maybe one day.

Willy's Build

The primary builders of my All Steel Willy's were Shane and Eugene Nunez. They worked on the Willy's on and off for nearly 8 years. Shane was the principle fabricator and builder. He stayed on the build through some very tumultuos times. The Willy's was built at four locations and three different businesses, but always Shane. I hired him for his Talent. The final product is testament to his attention to detail and his stewardship.

You can trust your vehicle to Bryan, Shane & Kevin; they know what they are doing. The fun part is the consultation-they are very creative!
