The times I've been here it was okay but last time was horrible, it was both managers working on Thursday with ten people needing a chair. One manager i forgot her name but I think her butt was fake & she was lightskin, both managers lightskin, had an attitude I guess cause they were low on staff & she did my hair SOO tight it was literally lifting the skin around my neck, tight around my edges bumps formed, she was rushing & and was pulling the thread way too tight, on purpose cause I told her & she still continued luckily my hair strong & not coming out. The braider was no better, she braided wayy too tight & braids were poor quality. I'm never going back again cause I need my edges, the owner supervisor a man had a attitude too cause I thought he called my name. It's all bad

I patronized Salon de Weave for the first time today and I was very happy withthe total experience. I went for a simple braid down and was treated as if I was getting the premium package. Everyone was so professional. Definitely a return customer

I called to schedule an appointment, and the receptionist was very nice in accommodating me, I had a great experience with the staff, they were all courteous, and most importantly, the all were very professional, thorough and timely in doing my hair, I definitely intend to return and even inform others about the shop

Went in to get classic sew in at 1:20pm didn't get don't till 4:30pm. I had five different people giving me advice on how my hair should turn out, let me tell you two of these people where supposed to management!! I told explained to them exactly what I wanted and was assured what I wanted was what I was going to get. When I was all done I had matter than half a pack of hair left which left my hair very thin, was not done the way I wanted it and on to if that I was told I had to pay another $25 dollars to add more tracks to make it correct and full!!! The owner was not helpful, his daughter didn't say a word to fix situation and on to of that I was told I still had to pay. I will never go to this establishment again. In professional and likes to tack on extra charges for their mistakes. Now I'm fixing my own hair to the best of my ability and out of $62 dollars.

VERY PROFESSIONAL!!! I called with questions before making my appointment and after and the receptionist manager I spoke with was ALWAYS kind, patient, and professional and answered my questions each time. Four stars due to 2 minor imperfections in the cut and my line-up was forgotten but I am partly to blame since I also forgot. I would DEFINITELY recommend this shop and I intend to return in the future. Very satisfied customer.

Today I had the pleasure of being serviced at the Salon De Weave at the Southfield Location. I found the staff to be very professional and the environment very comfortable. Most importantly, the establishment was clean and cozy. Thanks to the staff of Salon De Weave for being very attentive in their service to me in a professional manner.

I love the way they do my hair. This is the only salon i let do my hair. Keep up tha great work.

I was at my wits end as to what to do with my thinning hair. A friend suggested I try a weave. I made an appointment at Salon de Weave which is near my office.. I was pleasantly surprised by the service, decor, and cleanliness of the salon. I was overjoyed with my weave. I received so many compliments. Many thanks to the Weavemaster. I will return and refer my friends and family.

Salon de Weave is the place to go if you're looking for quality and professionalism. I really enjoyed the experience. The ambience was great - it was bright and clean. The stylist were very professional and considerate of my time. I had no idea how I wanted my hair braided. The stylist took my age into consideration and came up with a style that not only lasted long, but looked good as well, and was appropriate for the work place. Salon de Weave is the only salon for me. On the occasion that I got a weave - it was a full cap. Again, I left it to the discretion of the stylist. The stylist asked a couple o f questions and from my answers created a style that I was very pleased with - If you didn't know it you would have thought that the weave was my natural hair - just colored. I was told that it took at least 10 years off me. Hats off to Salon de Weave - its good to have a salon to go to in the neighborhood that provides the caliber of service and expertise found for the most part in suburbia. I went there 2 times. The first time I went, the stylist said she could not do my sew-in the way I wanted (I wanted a side part and hair left out in the back to put my hair up in a ponytail) so I just had her do the standard weave with a middle part. The styling was ok. Not horrible not great. I decided to try them out again and this time I got a different stylist and she was able to do my hair the way I wanted the first time, the side part and hair left out. However, when she was pressing my hair that was left out SHE BURNED MY FOREHEAD! I have a scar that is the size of quarter on my forehead. And it was not because I moved, when she burned me, it was the first time she used the pressing comb on me. Smh! Never again!

The shop was clean. I took my teen daughter there for a press & curl. We were greeted promptly by a very polite receptionist. The staff was professional & started on my daughter's hair right away. The receptionist was attentive to me while I waited. My daughter & I were both pleased with the results. Our only complaint was the way the stylist combed through her hair. According to my daughter, it was somewhat roughly & not done in a manner to minimize damage. However, her hair appeared shiny & healthy in the end.

I absolutely love this salon! The first time I stepped into Salon De Weave, I was greeted by a very professional and helpful receptionist. She helped me decide on which service was the best for me and my hair. Prices were very affordable. The salon itself looked beautiful and clean, it was fit for a Queen. Once I sat in the chair, I was out in no time at all. The services took only an hour and a half and I looked gorgeous. The workers seemed to work together on my hair and I really felt like all the attention was on me. I would recommend this salon to anyone who feels they deserve to be pampered like a Queen.

I've been to this shop quite a few times. Out of the 5 times I've been, I was satisfied twice. They Are Much to expensive to not even do quality work, They charge for everything, & the quality of work is mediocre to poor, I will not be going back to them.

Salon de Weave is what it is now called....Never will I ever get my hair done here again!!! They cannot do hair! I have been here previously to get my hair done, when it was The $50 weave shop and have never had much of a complaint. They charged me to do every little thing, like redoing an invisible part and charging just to cut the piece of hair that was added from the part, then after getting the part, its additional to get the closure...really??? and I had more then half a pack of hair left. I asked for my hair back, which was indi remi...They said I didnt have any hair left and all they did was a invisible part. NEVER AGAIN IN THIS LIFETIME WILL THEY GET MY BUSINESS! THE PART LIFTED AFTER A FEW DAYS, AND I ONLY WENT HERE BECAUSE MY REGULAR BEAUTICIAN WAS BOOKED. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT SERVICE OTHER THEN A $50 WEAVE!!!

The styling is the best ever. I was not happy with the customer service that I received when someone messed up my hair. I paid for a wash, style and curl and the hair was over processed and locked up ( as in dread locks) on me the same day. I went back to them and they did not want to even take the weave out after I offered to pay for a full service. I wanted them to take out the weave so that I could pay for additional services and they turned down a ninety dollar service plus tips. The only thing that was offered was a wash for free. What type of customer service is that? To say it plainly, I love the hair do but they lost me as a customer forever!

This place is almost unrealistic! It's the best service I ever received. Professional, Friendly, Clean!, and Quality service. The ladies at the Highland Park Weave Shop are really raising the bar on salon service. From customer service to the styling game, I can't believe its something most people can afford. I can't explain in words, you have to see it to believe.
