Rotten Business! They showed up for a $39.95 Chimney Sweep for my disabled mother. Which turned into a scam to get my disabled mother to pay $2,400.00 for more work on the chimney. Upon arrival it was found they were rumaging through her items in the basement with her belongings found in their trash bags, and being screamed at by the contractors who have no license, amongst many other illegal or suspicious matters. The company claimed to be from East Haven, CT; when they are not and none of the company telephone numbers coinside at all. This unlicensed supposed NY based company was not only completely improperly registered but after reassessment by a local mason in our town. The $2,400 job they claimed was absolutely neccesary was a total of $15.00 in materials and less than one hour of work. They were removed from the property and the check that they attemted to collect from my elderly mother and disabled brother was taken back. This organization which after later research is flagged as a scam and should have been noticed as one once they told my mother they could provide no paperwork at all on any aspect of their registration, insurance, location, or receipt for the job. Warning do not hire this company and please do your research before proceeding and definitely get a second opinion on every job.
