Dr.Briggs doesn't believe in giving medication. He says it ages you!
When your sciatic nerve is so pinched you physically scream while lying on his table , I'd hope a pain Dr would be a bit more understanding and compassionate to your pain. While being treated he done epidural injections on me. No medication whatsoever.
The last injection he gave I could not physically lie down on table and take. I was literally screaming in pain. I'm sure they could hear me in waiting room. Dr. Briggs put on my report the last injection I could not do because I "couldn't get comfortable on his table"!
He said NOTHING in his report about WHY I couldn't get comfortable on his table. My sciatic nerve was so pinched I couldn't walk without tears.
I honestly feel it takes special people to work at these places. To be able to treat people who truly are in pain while realizing there are others there for the wrong reasons. I now have been in pain management for over a year in Denver. I couldn't be happier with the treatment I've received at Denver.

Dr. Brown is great. He listens to his patients and does whatever he deems necessary to make the patient comfortable and as pain-free as he can. ����

Dr. Brown is a excellent pain doc. He listens an doesn't just come in an out room! He is soft spoken an has a great bed side manner. Not just an uppity doc. He is willing to listen to you an thinks outside of the box! Everyone at this office is very professional an friendly. IF UR LOOKING FOR A PILL PUSHER YOU WON'T FIND IT HERE!!! YOU HAVE TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR MEDS. THEY DO DRUG TEST! Doc brown is the best pain doc iv EVER had. He believes in pain meds an injections... The injections I hardly felt!!! I did them for three yrs... Iv been with him at least six yrs.... This staff an the doctor's pay attention to ur needs. They try to keep u as pain free as possable.

Dr. Michelle Brown is fabulous! She listens to her patients and really cares. Her goal is to get you as close to pain free as possible. She is willing to think outside the box & take suggestions from her patients under consideration. Dr. Brown has a gentle bedside manner. She is soft-spoken, but is also willing to fight for her patients. The nurses, aides, staff, etc. of Unifour Pain in Hickory are all top-notch. I would highly recommend Dr. Brown and this facility to anyone suffering long-term pain who wants maximum possible improvement.



Dr. Brown will give medication and/or use any procedure possible to help her patients. But if you just want a pill-pusher (& not to get to the root of your problem), I ask that you not waste her time, as her patient list is long and those of us who truly appreciate her talents covet our appointments with her.

Dr. Dan Briggs has NO compassion for his patients! He is rude and inconsiderant. He actually told me he had no passion or could not careless for my case!If you're a pain management dr.,you should have compassion for people who are in chronic pain.If you go to this clinic...I truely hope you get another dr. besides him!
