I recently went into The Shoe Dept looking for children's atheletic shoes to donate to a program that supplies shoes for low income children. I found several pairs at good prices. I took them to the register where a lady was standing. She looked at me, looked at the shoes, then called another employee. She called again and when no one came she walked away with no explanation. I stood at the register alone, could have easily walked out with the shoes, since there were no employees around. Soon another lady came up front, looked at me, but proceeded to straighten up a display. Was I that invisible? I finally gave up, walked out without the shoes. This place is terrible in customer service and I will not shop there again. I believe I can find comparable shoes at other stores in the area.
