I hardly ever give one star but after the owner tole me they never make mistakes....well they are getting one star.... Buyer be warned. Over the last year I have made several purchases here none of which I have been 100% satisfied with. I had hoped over time things would change (because I prefer to shop local) and they did for the worse. They seem to be very knowledgeable but due to lack of knowledge they repeatedly sold me the wrong part which I had to return and wait for another part to be ordered and delivered, and that was the wrong part too. This has happened often. They sold me the wrong ESC and motor combo for $225 (told me Castle did not make a brushless sensored combo. I contacted Castle and they gladly sold me one). Hobby Town sold me the wrong $85 battery. I trusted since they were a hobby store they would know a lot about RC cars and be competent enough to order the correct part..WRONG.. After several wasted trips and hundreds of $$ wasted I have decided that buying local from Hobby Town is not for me. Hobby Town you need more mature employees who don't think they know everything. .. Yes I informed the owner about the Issue and he very rudely informed me they do not make mistakes in his store.
....Therefor it must have been my mistake. The only mistake I made was giving Hobby Town my trust and shopping here. Lesson learned from me. Good luck with your business Hobby Town!
