A few years ago we lost our furniture in a house fire. We bought a sectional leather sofa and ottomans from Mr. Norton and his sales associate. The sales associate wrote on the receipt "not sold as is, zipper on ottoman needs to be repaired". When they delivered the furniture it was not repaired and they refused to do so. In addition we were disappointed that the leather was scratched in moving and continued to scratch easily. They refused to take the furniture back or fix it and even brought a summons against us even though there had been no reversal of charges on our credit card. We mentioned that this would be our next step and they sued us before we even stopped charges. They are ruthless. Please do not give them a chance to make you as sorry as we were that we believed they would honor what they wrote on the receipt.
