He was amongst the first surgeons in Nassau County to specialize in LINX, a magnetic implant to prevent gastroesophageal reflux. He has been recognized by Castle Connolly annually since 2015. As an anchor in the community, Dr. Nishimura has a longstanding affiliation with Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital.
