I was looking for an eye care clinic closer to home after going to the same doctor for 20 years. I wanted somewhere I felt I would still have that comfortable, part of the family, feeling. I chose Hermitage Eye Care based on the excellent reviews online. I was not disappointed from the time I made the initial call to set up my appointment throughout the entire visit. Everyone was so nice, friendly and genuine. Alysia, at the front desk, was very welcoming. Dr. Hammond was personable and knowledgeable. He took the time to ask about me personally before he ever started the exam, then he went through every step and explained everything to me thoroughly. The ladies that did the other tests, Erica & Patti, were great also. I was very pleasantly surprised by how helpful the optician, Megan, was. I have never had anyone take the time to actually pick out frames for me and help me decide which looked best on me. She listened to what I liked and didn't like and helped narrow it down to exactly what I had in mind. Unlike other clinics, she never pushed any of the more expensive frames or lens upgrades on me. She offered them and explained them to me, but I never felt pushed to purchase them. My appointment was only 2 days ago and I have already recommended Hermitage Eye Care to family and friends as I will continue to do. If you are looking for an excellent eye care clinic with a warm and friendly staff, then look no further!
