Unbelievable, I have been going to Doctor Kinney for years. A couple of years ago I was placed on medication for anxiety. I have had the medication filled and refilled for over two years (even when the pharmacy says they have to get a doctor's approval, it has ALWAYS been refilled) Earlier this week I called in my refill and was told that I would have to have an appointment before I could get my refill. l thought, no problem, I will call see if they can give me two week refill and get my appt. after the holidays. Much to my amazement I was told "the office policy is that you must come in every six months in order to get a refill" I explained to Becky that I had never been told of this policy and I was going to be out of town and couldn't come in.... her response "Too bad, not my problem!" Being frustrated with her lack of understanding and rude, condescending attitude, I called back and asked to speak with Ronee. Instead, I received a call from Lindsey who was even ruder than Becky. When I asked to speak with Dr. Kinney she actually replied with "NO too bad, you should have known our policy and you're not speaking to anyone else about this." I am not sure how I would have known this policy since in the two years I have been on this prescription I have NEVER been told this. I was not asking for a full supply but instead just enough to get me through until I could come in. This is not a prescription I can just stop taking. I can GUARANTEE you I will not be back in this office EVER! And for those of you, who like me, expect your physician to helpful and understanding DO NOT GO HERE!!!! RUN, there are plenty of doctors and their staff who treat their patients with respect! Do NOT accept this type of treatment. I know I will not!!!

I was recently in a car wreck and too on hermitage family practice as my care provider. They have very reasonable rates for us cash payers and worked with the imaging company to get me great cash rates. They call me with me results each day to ease my mind. His staff is very good too... and on the ball. Nice to see people who still look at patients as people. I feel like I will be there a very long time... after the injuries are healed to manage my diabetes. The only good thing to come of a car wreck is a good doctor.
