The motto of the Mid-South Insurance Family is “We are family taking care of families”. The Mid-South Insurance Family has been committed to taking care of Sumner County and the Mid-South area's family insurance needs. Dell and Carol Ward started their Hendersonville agency years ago to expand on Dell’s previous years of experience in life and health insurance. They wanted to be able to offer expanded services, but more importantly they wanted to offer a personalized service to their clients who they hold in high esteem. “We enjoy people and we thoroughly enjoy helping others,” Dell says. It was their desire to operate locally and to serve others in a small-town setting that brought the Wards to Hendersonville to open their business. Over the years Dell’s family has joined him in the business as agents. Daughter Pat Duchesne joined the business in 1987 and is their managing agent. Dell’s wife, Carol, joined her husband as an agent in 1999.

New to Hendersonville! Pat Duchesne is First-class! She went above and beyond to secure coverage for our home and auto insurance. She worked alongside our lender to provide the lender insurance requirements well in advance of closing time!!! She made it so easy went above and beyond to work on my time schedule!

I have been coming here for about 20 years and they are the best. I have my cars, homes (till I sold one). They make sure I get the best price for what I need. I tell everyone to go here.
