BEWARE of this place! I dropped off my micro pave ring on August 31,2012 because

the center was loose, and I had two stones missing on the side. When I dropped it off, the woman took it to the man who rudely dealt with me today, and she said that the "boys" don't like working on this "type" of ring.... She wrote on the ticket to "tighten head" and to "replace 2 stones on side"..... I PAID IN FULL for the repairs that day.

Today is the 11th of September.....They called me to pick it up, I checked to see if both stones were replaced, and that the center didn't wobble.... I made one step out the front door and saw that a stone was missing out of the center, so I went right back in and explained.... The owner told me that he isn't responsible for "someone Else's work, he didn't make the ring", I explained to him that this ring has been in his possession for over 10 days, and that it wasn't missing when I dropped it off.

His response to the time period of them having it is because it is only himself and another jeweler, and they are just busy ...[Not my problem, create a job and hire another employee] He told me that he didn't touch the center... [even though he had to TIGHTEN AND FIX the wobbly center] and that I have over 120 stones in the ring, and they are just ALL bound to fall out.... (?)

I told him I didn't understand his logic. If i went into a walmart to buy something, and came back with it a day later, they would either refund my money, or see if I would like an exchange. I didn't even make it off the ramp by the front door. I was out of the store for about thirty seconds.... Not even off their property!!! Wow. A "fine" jewelery store not having the same standards as a walmart.... pathetic!

I am six months pregnant, so I know I can be a little emotional, so I kept in mind to keep calm, and to definitely watch my tone... I never once rose my voice, certainly never swore, nor did I degrade his store. I didn't demand my money back, I just asked him to fix it. This man actually had the nerve to tell me that if I kept being "nasty" with him, he isn't going to fix it. As the tears started to roll down my face, he vanished off into the back room with my ring...... I "should" have it back tomorrow.

Raising your voice at a pregnant lady and not being responsible for something they've had for over two weeks.

Response from Business - 09/12/2012 I tried to tell her the truth and the truth is that she bought the ring somewhere else. I did the repair asked of me. Ashley inspected the ring and signed the envelope stating she was satisfied with the work. She stepped out of the store and noticed a diamond was missing, she came back ito the store and I told her I had NO PROBLEM replacing the .01 ct. diamond that was missing. This ring has approximately 120, .01 ct. diamonds, and the one that fell out was not one of the ones that was fixed. I tried to explain to her that the micro pave rings altough look pretty, are of poor design, and when you have 120, .01 ct. diamonds, the odds are against you that you will lose a diamond. Unlike rings that has only 3 larger stones and is well designed. I told her that I would replace the .01 ct diamond, but could not ( and should not ) be expected to warrantee someone elses ring that was purchased at another store. That warrantee should be given be the store that sold her this ring. As far as her being pregnant, I had no idea until she told me she was, and was not sure why it came into the discusion. The work was done correctly and in a timely manner, and I replaced an additional diamond at no cost. Anyone that has done business with me knows that I will go out of my way to make my clients happy. I am passionate about what I do and am proud to say that we've been in business for 29 years, with Norma and Joe with me for over 23 years each. Ashley just left my store, she inspected the ring and signed the envelope stating she was satisfied with the work that was done at no charge. Michael Holland, Proud Owner of Gold Casters Jewelry
