The Black Mountain Recreation Center covers an area of more than 41,000 square feet. The center features a pool, play apparatus, gymnasium, loop slide, raindrop waterfall, vending area and game room. It also includes more than two racquetball and volleyball courts. The center features over five meeting facilities and classrooms. The Black Mountain Recreation Center is a part of the City of Henderson Parks and Recreation Department, which is governed by the City of Henderson in Nevada. The department offers a variety of classes, workshops and events for residents. It provides opportunities to participate in several athletic activities, such as softball and tennis.
