Provided by YP.com1/2 star at best! The upside is that it is affordable to most and it looks nice. I would ONLY recommend Apple Valley to seniors or those looking for a temporary stepping stone. The park operations are in line with that of a retirement community. This is not a family friendly community!
There are NO amenities whatsoever for children and you are not allowed to provide your own (swing set, swimming pool, play houses, etc.) All toys and bicycles must be promptly removed from sight if your children are not playing with them or you will receive a "notice".
The water alternates between pale and dark orange to having a strong odor of bleach (there have been newspaper articles on this issue).
Lately the condition of snow and ice covered streets has raised safety concerns among residents.
Rent is raised yearly while the quality of living remains the same and resident concerns are dismissed.

We have been living here for more than 36 years and we have seen this park go to trash ... They took out everything enjoyable, first it was the public pool, then the little park they did have for the children, then they don't pave the roads for us to even enjoy driving on, to top it all off they say they are background checking everyone that moves in here and recently the manager gina scott got picked up for a dui and was caught with marijuana .... doesn't hat go both ways? They say they are trying to make everyone that has anything to do with drugs move out but she just gets a slap on the wrist? People nowadays really need to stick together and voice their opinions and have the courage to do so all the way through.

I have lived in Apple Valley Estates mobile home park for 5 years. Since we have moved in they increase our rent every year and took away cable tv. This park is no longer affordable or enjoyable. And to top it off, they made new policies that you are no longer allowed for any play equipment for children. No pools, No Swing sets, No Play houses, No lawn ornaments etc...This place should be called Hitler Valley. It's not family family friendly in any way.
