Response to the Astonished Reviewer

Whoever the person is that was complaining about the vet not stopping to do anything for the deer that he hit, know your facts. A veterinarian can not work on a wild animal. They are property of the state. If that deer had been the property of someone (an owner) that had a license to own that deer he could have and would have worked on that deer. If he had stopped to help the deer or to put it out of its misery he would have been at risk of losing his license. Also, deer are dangerous and violent. I doubt he could have even gotten close to it to help without getting severely injured himself. Please do not try and ruin a wonderful veterinarian and his practice's reputation when you don't even know the facts of what you are talking about.

What kind of veterinarian does this?

Today as I was traveling from Francis to Heber City, I was traveling behind a vehicle that was from Arcadia Veterinary Clinic. I know this because I saw their sign on the truck as it passed me. As I traveled behind the truck, I noticed a deer on the right side of the road, heading to the other side. I thought 'I hope the truck sees the deer!'. Apparently not. The truck hit the deer sending it flying to the side of the road, hair flying. I was astonished to see the truck continue traveling down the road, barely hitting it's brakes. I pulled over to have a look at the deer. It was still alive, trying to regain control of itself. I tried to think of someway to help the deer, wishing I had a way to put it out of it's misery. Angry with the truck for not stopping, I got back on the highway and traveled to Heber. As I got closer, I saw the truck turn into Arcadia Veterinary Clinic….I followed. Once the driver had stopped the truck, I confronted him to see that he was actually the vet! Yep…J. Bruce Williams himself. What kind of veterinarian would leave this deer to suffer without so much as stopping to see if there was anything he could do?

I've recently heard some terrifying things about vet clinics, I wanted to take the time to say how grateful I am for Arcadia. It took me about a year to decide I wanted to get my 9 pound-Shih Tzu-fur baby fixed, and I was very nervous. Over the phone while making my appointment they answered any questions I had, stupid or not. The day of the surgery, we arrived early and let me snuggle my Molly a little bit before handing her over. Molly shaking like crazy, I saw the vet tech (Who I wish I could remember her name because she was great!) snuggle Molly, which reassured me she was in good hands. My Shih Tzu ended up being in heat and also had a hernia they needed to remove, the team kept me fully informed with phone calls. Once I picked her up they explained all the steps and precautions I needed to be aware of. Once again they were very friendly ( not in a fake, but in a real way). Later on, maybe a month later, I saw the Vet Tech at a local Mexican restaurant and she took the time to ask me how my Molly was doing. That it's self, proved to me that I made the right choice with this clinic and I still continue to order our pet vaccinations here as well:)

very satified customer

I've been taking my pets to them for almost 10 years now, they have a very knowledgeable and caring staff and I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else!
