Bill Palmos ( 1915-2007 ), one of the firm's founding partners, opened up his first office in Hearne, Texas in 1945 just after the close of World War II. In 1950, after 5 years of operating above the old City Cafe', he moved his practice to its current location on 306 Cedar Street. On January 1, 1969, Bryan F. Russ, Sr. ( 1925-1996 ) and Bill Palmos joined together and opened the law firm of Palmos & Russ. Thereafter, James H. McCullough and Bryan F. Russ, Jr. were named as partners and the firm's name expanded accordingly. In 1994 Molly A. Hedrick joined the firm. Trey Russ joined the firm in 2006.
