FamilyPaths, formerly known as Parental Stress Service, is a nonprofit, community service organization that provides a range of mental health and therapy services for low-income individuals and families. Founded in 1972, it is comprised of various mental health professionals and volunteers. The organization offers family support, counseling, and respite and child care services. FamilyPaths administers the Early Childhood Mental Health Program (ECMH), which includes case management and support services to promote the social and emotional growth of young children. It conducts parenting classes for new parents, caregivers, and foster and kinship care providers to improve parent-child relationships. The organization provides counseling services for infants, children, adolescents, adults and families. Additionally, FamilyPaths operates a 24-hour community support and resource help line.
