Dustin Moffitt, ND, was born and raised in the rural outskirts of Wichita, near Whitewater, Kansas. He achieved his Bachelors from Wichita State University with a major in Chemistry, and minors in Biology, Physics, and Sociology. After receiving his undergraduate degree Dr Moffitt moved to Portland, Oregon, where he received his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM), now known as National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). Dr Moffitt spent five years working with the community to teach nutrition and wellness with the Food as Medicine Institute. He also participated in several clinical rotations such as physical medicine, minor surgery, primary care, gastroenterology, pediatrics, cardiology, pulmonology, and general health. While practicing in Oregon, Dr. Moffitt worked alongside Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, and Chiropractors as a primary care physician. He specializes in regenerative injection techniques, pain management, sports rehabilitation, chronic illness, functional medicine, and weight loss. Dr. Moffitt strives to get to know each of his patients and ensuring his patients are well educated of their conditions, treatment options, and prognosis. As a naturopathic physician, he targets the underlying cause of symptoms, taking into consideration the micro and macro nutrient composition of the patient through lab testing, their lifestyle, and what goals they would like to reach. Looking at the body as a whole, and treating the entire patient, Dr. Moffitt works to educate his patients on how to prevent injuries and illnesses, and how to promote healthy and happy lifestyles. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Moffitt enjoys spending time trail running, mountain biking, and hiking with his wife (Jess), and their Catahoula Leopard (Mayzee). He also enjoys spending time in their garden, growing food for his whole family. He is constantly on the lookout for his next adventure. He is a member of several key professional organizations including the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Practitioners, and the Western Pain Society. Dr Moffitt also has done a variety of trainings to continually advance his education and knowledge. Advanced training typically revolves around sports medicine, regenerative injection therapies (prolotherapy and platelet rich plasma therapy), functional medicine, and pain management.
