This ad needs an address and more details added so people can find them. If you do not type it in just right then they are very very hard to locate. Love the staff here, they are wonderful.

I am good friends with the owners of About Bikes. And they have had a few rough patches with mechanics in the shop, since the founder David Eddy passed. But now they have a great mechanic that is supportative of the shop and cares about the customers. They strive to do the very best to their ability and treat every one that comes in like family. If you could get a chance to know them and form your own opinion about them you would see that they made lots of improvements.

Took bike in to have tires replaced. 2 days later I find I am missing 2 pinch bolts for the forks. Long story short: The tech rounded off the 2 pinch bolts and didn't bother telling me about it or that those pinch bolts were now not there. I am pretty upset, disappointed and mad about the type of quality work done to my bike at “About Bikes”, the missing bolts that no one bothered to tell me or make documentation on work order, the huge safety issue that “About Bikes” allowed a bike to leave their shop, placing my life and maybe others in danger, and the total lack of concern in my inquiries when I called to talk about this problem. I would have much rather this situation been handled in a “Customer Satisfaction” manner. Now “About Bikes” leaves me with only negative word of mouth advertisement for your business. Oh and the 2 pinch bolts that are missing is "not a safety issue" according to the tech.
