In this day and age of too many rip offs, I gladly recommend Phillips Auto Service on El Segundo Blvd. in Hawthorne, CA. Today was my first time taking my car to Phillips; I got a recommendation from a work mate after my own mechanics could not find what was wrong with my 94 Wrangler. It was running like a DOG! I was told to wait until it got worse and then come back. What? Worse? You mean like stuck somewhere in no man's land??



I looked on the internet and called around and didn't feel comfortable with some of the reviews I read and some of the charges just to look at your car I was getting. So my friend at work told me about Phillip. In about 2 hours my car was in, diagnosed and fixed for $100!!! Are you kidding? When do you leave an auto shop for $100 when you don't know what's wrong with your car? I would venture to say almost never. And to top it off...whatever they did (look, I'm a girl and I don't know details) my Jeep is running better and smoother than it has for years. I now have a new mechanic.
