I got my income tax check cashed at The First. They charge a fee if you're a non-customer as does all other banks. They were way cheaper than the check cashing places I visited. Most of them charge 3% on you check. The First just had a flat fee depending on how much your check was. The most you would pay is $89.00 as of 1/30/09 for a $5,000 check. That's awesome!! Thanks!
