I don't even know how to describe the food here and the customer service other than AMAZING! The food was so good that I had to take a picture of it before I inhaled it, to savor the moment. I went here maybe 2 months ago or a bit less than that. I ordered the 1/2 fried shrimp 1/2 fried catfish platter which also came with two good pieces of buttered French bread (authentic New Orleans French bread at that, MUAH!), a salad, and a side. I had the potato salad and did Italian dressing for my salad. The salad was FRESH! That is very important for me when ordering a salad. The potato salad wasn't overpowered by mustard or any one ingredient. It was just right. The fried seafood had the perfect amount of seasoning and fried perfectly golden but not overly nor under fried like some places do. I even had the local root beer, Barq's....in the old school bottle. I left the waitress a $10 tip. She was nice and so was the guy there. The portion was perfect too. I got full for my buck. I highly recommend eating here especially dining in. Its a laid back, casual, and relaxing atmosphere especially if you're a local like myself and you just want to feel at home.
