Founded in 1847, Lake Center Christian School is located in Hartville, Ohio. The school provides Christ-centered education to more than 600 students in kindergarten through grade 12. Its general academic curriculum includes language arts, math, social studies and science. It offers Spanish as a foreign language. Lake Center Christian School features a band, choir and orchestra. The school also conducts spiritual, art, music, computer and physical education classes. It organizes a variety of special events, such as speech meets, music festivals, creative writing competitions, and art and science fairs. In addition, it offers various types of sports activities that include golf, soccer, volleyball, basketball and baseball. The school provides special education services to gifted and talented students. Lake Center Christian School is a member of several organizations, including the Association of Christian Schools International and the Mennonite Elementary Education Council.
